I am an Assistant Professor at the Philosophy Department (KGW), University of Salzburg. The department here is terrific, and Austria is a very nice country, too. I am also an external member of the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy, LMU.
I was previously a Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Kent. I did my British PhD in Sheffield, where I was lucky enough to be supervised by Bob Hale and Dominic Gregory. My examiners were Crispin Wright and Rosanna Keefe, and my thesis was on Intuitionism and Logical Revision (and the epistemology of logic more generally).
Before going to Sheffield, I was a PhD student at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, where I wrote a thesis on the Paradox of Knowability under the direction of Cesare Cozzo and Carlo Cellucci.
I held an Analysis Studentship in 2009/10 at Arché, St Andrews, and I’ve been a post-doctoral fellow at the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität between November 2011 and January 2012.
